The Tiger I , a German heavy tank of World War II deployed from 1942 in Africa and Europe, usually in independent heavy tank battalions. The Tiger I gave the Wehrmacht its first armoured fighting vehicle that mounted the 8.8 cm KwK 36 gun.
A platoon of four Tigers went into action on 23 September 1942 near Leningrad.

The tank force was made of three battalions, with 31 tanks each spread into three ten tank companies. About 1614 Soviet T-54/T-55s, 73 T-72s, 443 M-84s, and a few M47 tanks not in reserve were used before the Yugoslavian wars, but this conflict saw many vintage tanks leave reserves and fight, like T-34/85s, Shermans, M10, M18 and M36 tank destroyers among others. On the APC/IFV side, 955 M-80A IFVs and 551 M-60P APC were in service, all produced locally. In addition 200 BTR-152, BTR-40, and BTR-50 purchased in the 1960s-1970s were also in service, alongside 100 vintage M3A1 half tracks. Reconnaissance vehicles includes APC/Recce TAB-71 (Romanian-built), BRDM-2 and BTR-60s, and the locally-built BOV and LOV 4×4 armoured vehicles. The
Yugoslav Army was supplied with the M36, M36B1 and M36B2 90 mm GMC. Before being transferred, the M36’s were rebuilt and many if not all were retrofitted with the M3A1 90 mm Gun with bore evacuator (as used on the M26A1 and the M46 Medium Tanks). Yugoslavian M36s participated in the Croatian War of Independence (1991–1995).
M36s were also used by Serbian forces in Bosnia and Croatia, and they were used during the Kosovo War as decoys for NATO air strikes.
The Shermans of the Yugoslav Army were all M4A3-E4 76MM Shermans, remanufactured and retrofitted with 76 mm guns in the M34A1 gun mount. These long guns in the standard Sherman turret gave rise to the rumour that the Yugoslav Army was equipped with Sherman Fireflies.
The two kits are made from several pieces and scratch built.
